Bacon Jam

Looking for something to add onto your next burger night? This jam with tomato and bacon is rich in flavor and goes great with any style burger!

This burger bacon jam is an amazing addition for your next burger. Not only is this condiment easy to make, but it adds a depth of flavor to the patty and bun itself. It serves well with mayo and mustard, or on it’s own. With the tomato as the base of this jam, the taste is are closer to a rich and savory ketchup.

Bacon Tomato

Each time this burger bacon jam is made in my household, it always has to be served with my lean southwestern burgers (recipe here). With the smokiness of the jam and the peppers in the patty, the ingredients compliment each other amazingly. And it tastes so delicious!

Bacon Tomato Jam

Another reason this burger bacon jam is so great is how flexible it is. This recipe can be adjustable based on your household ingredients. If I don’t have lemon juice on hand, I use lime instead. If I don’t have roma tomatoes, I use cherry. If I want more garlic, I add it. All in all, this recipe is very forgiving and will work with ingredients you already have.
