It’s a tender, roasted veggie with drizzled honey and a hint of smokiness, giving it just enough earthy and woody flavors to make a statement at the dinner table. It’s a side dish my family can’t get enough of and has become a household recipe. It can be prepped in minutes and served in no time!   • Carrots
  • White Pepper
  • Smoked Sea Salt
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Ground Ginger
  • Garlic Powder
  • Olive Oil
  • Honey
  • Brown Sugar

These Smoked Honey Roasted Carrots are amazing to serve during the holiday festivities. Honey Roasted Carrots

Total Time 35 minutes
Course Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. Mixed Heirloom or bunched carrots, peeled and stems trimmed to about 2 inches (Baby carrots can also be used)
  • 2-3 Tbl. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • ¼ tsp. white pepper
  • ½ tsp. smoked sea salt
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbl. brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425℉. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Arrange the carrots on the baking sheet in an even layer. Drizzle the olive oil and honey over them.
  • Sprinkle the white pepper, smoked sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, brown sugar, and ground ginger (if using). Toss together until the carrots are evenly coated.
  • Bake 21-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the carrots are caramelized and tender. If the carrots aren't easily pierced with a fork, roast for an additional 5 minutes.
