These Homemade Dog treats are perfect to give to your best pal with only a few household ingredients! They are healthy, easy to make and are freezer friendly!

Have you ever shopped for dog treats at the store and become concerned from the by-products listed on the package? Especially ingredients you have no idea how to pronounce? That all you want is a treat for your dog without having to worry about what you’re feeding them?

That’s me 100%.

I’m always looking to find healthy and delicious treats for my dog Cooper with simple ingredients I can find in my own pantry but sometimes, they aren’t always easy to find. It get frustrating and after a while, I give up buying them all together. Then once I do find a product I can trust, they are either expensive or can’t be found at my local markets.

Can anyone relate to my struggles, especially if your dog has a sensitive stomach?

So that’s why I like prefer making dog treats when I have the ingredients on hand.  Cooper has a very sensitive stomach and making homemade treats for him eases my concerns about what I’m feeding him. Just like every year, I make him his birthday cake. It’s simple to make and I’ve never worried about his tummy hurting after eating a slice.

If you have the same concerns, I would definitely recommend trying out this recipe! They are easy to make and even easier to store. I like rolling the dough out to cut into bone shaped cookies but you can shape them however you’re like. Use any cookie cutter you have on hand or roll them into bite sized portions.

Just be sure to adjust the baking time as needed if cut into smaller shapes or if you prefer a softer or crunchier biscuit.

Since my husband and I only have Cooper at the moment, I store these biscuits in a Mason jar and place in the freezer for up to three months. He absolutely loves these treats and he loves eating them cold even more, especially during the hot summers!
