Ingredients
8oz.pasta of your choice
4Tbl. unsalted butter
2cupsfrozen broccoli florets
8oz.shredded rotisserie chicken or raw jumbo shrimp
3/4-1cupgrated parmesan cheese
1/4cupheavy cream (optional)
1small pinchground nutmeg (Optional)
Instructions
In a large pot, cook the pasta according to the directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Set the cooked pasta to the side.
In the same pot over medium-heat, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter.
Add in the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in the chicken or raw shrimp (whichever you prefer). Cook for 1 more minute.
Add the pasta back into the pot, followed by the rest of the butter. Then stir in 3/4 cup of the parmesan cheese and 1/4 of the reserved pasta water. Toss to coat.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to cook for 5 minutes, continuously stirring. Add in more water until the sauce becomes creamy and the cheese melts. You can also add in the heavy cream and pinch of nutmeg if using.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve.

To Store: Seal any leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
