Place the salmon piece in a bowl and lightly season with salt and pepper.
In another small bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chipotle powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until combined and pour over the salmon.
Carefully toss until each piece of fish is evenly coated and set aside. Let rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer or oven to 425℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
After the salmon is done marinating, transfer the pieces to the baking sheet, keeping them an inch apart.
Bake or air fry for 15 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes.
