This classic cobb salad has been upgraded to a Prosciutto Cobb Salad with freshly sliced pears and prosciutto. Together, they bring light and bold flavors that really uplifts a traditional salad.

My husband and I just returned from our first road trip to San Fransisco with our dog Cooper. It was so much fun experiencing the trip for the first time with our fur baby and he was lovable to everyone around him.

Sadly, our trip is at an end and we are ready to come back home to our cat Simon. I was also ready to get back on a healthy diet. San Fransisco has amazing food and chowder but I am ready for greens again and some fresh vegetables. And this Cobb salad is exactly what I was needing!

I love cobb salads. I love the bitter blue cheese, earthy walnuts, and crispy bacon. The ingredients are such an amazing combination and each show off the flavors they can give to the dish.

Salads are really fun to make because you can literally put anything on a bed of lettuce and it will taste good. You can make a salad using lettuce, mixed greens, pasta, or other veggies and top with whatever you want to! It’s the easiest dump lunch you can do without feeling sad about eating it.

When I tried this Prosciutto Cobb Salad, I didn’t want to share. I wanted it all to myself even though I still had leftovers for lunch. I love the prosciutto and pears mixed in because the pears are crisp and the prosciutto is salty and tender.

I really hope you enjoy this! So, try this out and don’t forget to tag me on Instagram or Facebook. I would love to see your creation!
