Looking for a breakfast menu item that’s budget-friendly, convenient and on the go? This overnight oatmeal is easy to make and packed with flavor in every bite. If you are needing a simple way to learn how to make oats overnight, this is a beginner friendly recipe to try out!

I love a good overnight oatmeal. Not only is it great making the night before, but for one serving, it keeps you full until lunch time, sometimes longer. And there’s no need to prep anything in the morning, just grab and go on your way. If you prefer smoothies to jump start your day, this is also a great recipe to blend first thing in the morning with a banana added to it!

Any milk can be used for your overnight oats and you can add as much as you would like depending on your preference for texture. 2% milk works great but almond milk is another great healthy option that provides a nutty flavor. There is a wide variety to adjusting this recipe to accommodate your lifestyle. You can even add crushed peanuts or chopped walnuts for extra protein!
